Lindsey Barr, MA, LPC · Founder, LCB Clinical Counseling

Meaningful change begins when people feel truly seen.

For more than 18 years, I've had the privilege of helping adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate life's most challenging transitions with compassion, clarity, and evidence-based care.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of LCB Clinical Counseling, I specialize in working with anxiety, mood disorders, women's issues, addiction recovery, relationship concerns, social and emotional development, and life transitions.

Migrating birds across an open sky

The approach

Quiet language for loud transitions.

My approach blends mindfulness-based practices with cognitive behavioral strategies, helping clients move beyond simply managing symptoms toward building lives that feel more intentional, balanced, and authentic.

I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology from The Citadel and my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the College of Charleston. My clinical work has been grounded in both science and the belief that every person's story deserves curiosity, respect, and hope.

Whether you're experiencing overwhelming anxiety, navigating a difficult relationship, adjusting to a major life change, or simply feeling stuck, therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reconnect with yourself, and create lasting change. Together, we'll identify patterns that no longer serve you, strengthen resilience, and develop practical skills you can carry into everyday life.

I strive to create a therapeutic space that is warm, collaborative, and free of judgment — a place where you can explore challenges honestly while discovering your own capacity for healing and growth.

I look forward to walking alongside you on your journey.
